Exercise and Nutrition
This is not a Programme of any one extreme. There are no fad-diets, like only eating boiled cabbage soup for 2 weeks! There are no extreme cardio work-outs or the need to train for a marathon... although there's nothing stopping you from making that a personal goal. There is no calorie counting either... although you will start the programme by looking at this- purely to become awareness of what you are actually consuming compared to what nutrients your body needs to stay healthy.
The "calories in and calorie out" diets don't work in the long run. Just accept it. Studies show that even after losing on a very restricting diet, as soon as you go back to your previous habits, you return to your original weight. It revolves around METABOLISM. Exercise can help you lose weight, but it's more complex than thinking you can burn off any "binges" in a once-off extreme gym work-out!
A slow and steady change to one's LiFESTYLE is essential to maintain weight loss. We believe MODERATE CHANGES to EXERCISE and NUTRITION supports weight-loss and optimum health and wellbeing. These factors are two of four cornerstones forming the S.E.N.S. Weight- Loss Method.
